So I decided that I’d start my blog with my thoughts about Kelly and Tripp’s beautiful new little girl Caroline. She is so precious! She was born yesterday at 1:36 PM and is just beautiful! It’s amazing how tiny a newborn is. She has long fingers but then her fingernails are itsy, bitsy! It is so wonderful to just look at her. How could you doubt that there is a God and He loves us when you look at a brand new baby! She is totally reliant on Kelly and Tripp to meet her every need. I think it’s a beautiful picture of our reliance on God. We should be to God like Caroline is to Kelly and Tripp. Wholly dependent on Him to meet all of our needs. That’s a very tall order for us but I strive to be in that place. Hopefully every time I think about beautiful Caroline I’ll remember that and place my life, again, in God’s hands.

Your blog is so cute. Hopefully you will help me spruce mine up soon! Thank you for being such a great friend to me these past 2 weeks after Caroline’s birth. You and Jason were so sweet to come and celebrate Tripp’s birthday with us, and of course provide the meal and his birthday cake. You are both such blessings to our family. Thank you for your friendship and your sweet post about Caroline.
