Fun Saturday

Today was one of those glorious Saturday’s that’s just so much fun. I got to shop with my mom (and later with my dad and brother) which was an adventure and a lot of fun! Then Caroline, Kelly, and I went to lunch and explored the outdoor mall. Caroline is by far the best behaved baby that I’ve ever seen. She slept peacefully throughout our whole shopping excursion! She barely made a sound! I enjoyed taking all of the compliments about how beautiful she was and how well behaved she was while Kelly shopped. Ok, so I did fess up most of the time that this beautiful child was not mine, but hey it was fun! 🙂

Then tonight we got to go to a great wedding of one of Jason’s good friends. David and Allison are so sweet and had a really beautiful wedding and a great reception! I mean, how much better can it get when you have a quesadilla bar with a waiter waiting to make you the quesadilla of your dreams! Their yellow, black, and white theme was so cute and (if I’m up to date on my wedding trends) are “the colors” for fashionable weddings these days. We wish both of them the best!

As a sidenote, Jason and Tripp are playing in their first Club Championship tonight. I think they had fun today and are looking forward to tomorrow. Hopefully they’ll win their flight tomorrow!

So anyway, I love days like these. Days that are relaxing and fun. Where you get to spend time with the people you care about and have meaningful conversations with them. Days like these are days that I thank God for blessing me with such great family and friends. So, for those of you part of my day today or part of other fun days, thank you. Thank you for sharing your lives with me. Thank you for listening when I need to talk. And thank you for always being there. I am truly blessed with the best family and friends ever. God is so good!
