On Monday we took Charlotte for her 12 month well check up. This picture was in the waiting room — before the appointment got hairy. Basically the appointment went great while we were in the waiting room. Once we went back the first thing we had to do was get her weight. As soon as Jason sat her down she started crying and reaching for him. And throughout the rest of the appointment she cried (and I mean wailed!) whenever we had to put her down. When she was being held she was fine but if we put her down, even just to take off/put on her clothes, she cried. I guess we’re in the middle of a little separation anxiety, especially at the doctor’s office.
But the news at the doctor was really good. Charlotte had put on three pounds since her 9 month visit and weighed 18 lb, 11 ounces which moved her from the 3rd percentile to the 27th percentile! She had grown too and was 28 3/4″ tall which put her in the 41st percentile. And the child is verrrrrrry smart since her head was in the 87th percentile! 🙂
