A little change with this giveaway. I couldn’t let this month get away without giving away three of my most recent favorite fiction books! So check them out!
I found Miss Match in March for free on Amazon for my kindle. So I downloaded it and whoever made the decision to let readers get it for free was smart because I immediately downloaded the next two books in the Lauren Holbrook series! I love Erynn Mangum’s characters and her writing style. It’s fresh and fun and inspirational. I was also super impressed with Erynn’s ability to make a married with a child, coffee-disliking person like me identify so completely with a single, coffee-addicted character. That is a true writer!
Once I finished the Lauren Holbrook series I was excited to find that Erynn was writing a new series — the Maya Davis series. The first book, Cool Beans, came out on April 1st and I immediately ordered it because I couldn’t find it in my local bookstores. I enjoyed it just as much as I enjoyed the Lauren Holbrook series and I’m looking forward to Latte Daze to hit stores this summer!
In a little different vein I have also recently enjoyed Elizabeth White’s books. It probably helps me identify with them because her characters and stories are set in Alabama! This was a great book that also tied in the political process which is something that I enjoy. But even if you don’t like politics you’ll enjoy the story and characters in this book.

May 12, 2010 at 12:23 pmIf “off the record” is set in Alabama, I would want to read that one first! This is because I was born and raised in Alabama and just moved to Texas this past summer. I love reading things about Alabama because it’s almost like I’m home again!
