Charlotte

Bounce! Bounce! Bounce!

At Mia’s birthday party a few weeks ago Charlotte learned how to bounce her way around a bounce house and had a great time chasing Mia’s dog Teddy around the bounce houses!

Getting her first t-ball instruction from Daddy!

Look at that perfect form! And she even got the ball on the first try too!

She wasn’t afraid to climb up the slide….

And loved sliding down it!

Unfortunately, we had to leave the party early because Charlotte was running on their concrete driveway and tripped and chipped one of her front teeth.  Thankfully one of our friends is a dentist and he checked her out there and we have since been to a pediatric dentist and everything looks ok.  It’s a small chip and her teeth still look pretty good and aren’t really loose but it was a very traumatic afternoon.  And since Charlotte sucks her thumb it made it even harder for her to soothe herself since putting her thumb in her mouth hurt.

It seems like this year has been one medical scare or incident after another for Charlotte.  We’re hoping that those start to thin out but I’m guessing with all the running around that she’s doing these days that our falls and scrapes and bumps and bruises might only increase in the coming months! We just hope they aren’t serious!
