Charlotte, Family

It’s finally football season again!

Despite taking James to the doctor on the first game day of the fall, we still had a fun day at home watching Alabama dominate Michigan.  Here’s to hoping that the rest of the season continues in the same vein!
The next weekend we headed down to Tuscaloosa for the first home football game weekend.  It was a little strange since our usual weekends involve Memma and Papa and they were in North Carolina for a wedding, but we made our weekend lots of fun by having KayKay and GrandDavid and Grandmother and Grandfather down for the game!
Grandfather turned 80(!!) in August and asked for tickets to an Alabama game since he hadn’t been in a long time.  We were happy to get some tickets for them and Kay and David in The Zone.  They came down on Saturday morning and the rain held off except for a few drops for them to get to enjoy a game in a totally different environment than he remembered!

Since the game started during James’ nap time and we only had two tickets, Jason and Charlotte went to the game by themselves.  Charlotte had a great time enjoying popcorn and some Daddy/Daughter bonding time but did complain that it was a little loud.  Since she thinks most anything is too loud that doesn’t surprise me!

Our weekend was different than most but we still enjoyed our time in Tuscaloosa and look forward to lots more fun weekends this fall!
