Construction Chronicles – Iron Work

From now on the exterior pictures of the house aren’t going to change very drastically, or at all, from the last week.  The only thing we’re lacking outside is the fence which should be installed soon.  The interior is where the fun stuff is happening!

Inside this week we got the stair railing installed and we are so excited about it!  We worked with the local contractor to design it to mimic the arch that goes into the kitchen/den area and love the way it turned out!

We also got more tile completed, like the shower floor in the master, some of the tub surround in the master, and the shower surround in the Jack and Jill bath.

When the iron stair railing was installed they also brought the iron inserts for the china cabinets in the dining room.  I love this little piece of Alpha Chi love in the house!
