Building a Home – Charlotte’s Room Inspiration Board

The new house provided us with the opportunity to give Charlotte a little more grown up bedroom from her original big girl room.  We kept the purple color scheme since Charlotte still loves purple, but we changed out the fabrics and bedding to give her more say in the furnishings.  For instance, I gave her a choice of about ten bedspreads and she chose the one that she wanted.  We also ended up getting a mattress and box springs that my parents were changing out of their house, so we got Charlotte a new bed to go with those and are moving Charlotte’s old bed into James’ room for when he’s ready to move to a big bed.  I’m very excited about how this will turn out and Charlotte is so excited just about her purple walls…I can’t wait to have her see the finished product!
