Friday Favorite’s

I thought I’d jump on the Friday Favorite’s bandwagon today and show you some of the things that I’m loving these days.

If you’re an avid reader like I am but still don’t have the money to feed your addiction, BookBub is for you.  After you fill out a questionnaire with preferences they send you an email daily with books that are either greatly reduced or free in the genre’s you selected.  I am LOVING the books that I’m downloading for free from the emails and it’s free and easy to do!
I love this post about if Sunday School is destroying our kids.  I wholeheartedly agree that we need to teach our kids that God loves us in spite of us, not because of us.

Charlotte can sight read the first book in this series already and I love how short the words are and how easy they are to remember!  We also got the Fancy Nancy beginning readers which are good too, but I think these have a bigger impact on those just starting to read.
One of my favorite blogs to read is Servant’s Life.  Stacy is encouraging for Mom’s struggling to lead Godly lives.  She’s started a facebook page and would love for you to join her community!
(While you’re there maybe you could join the Tales of a Peanut community on facebook too?)
I had fun letting Christina from The Transformation “make me over” before our family photo shoot on Tuesday.  She took me out of my comfort zone but so far I’ve been so impressed with how everything looks in photo’s.  I can’t wait to see more from our fabulous photographer, Erin Cobb.
You’ve probably read this post about the Duchess, but if not go read it.  I was so relieved when Kate walked out of the hospital and you could tell that she had been pregnant! Made me feel so much better about the shape of my body leaving the hospital after giving birth!
And this post has been making the rounds on facebook but if you haven’t read “If I Could Do it All Over Again” then you should go read it.  So many favorite parts and I was teary reading the whole thing but lost it when she reminded me that we only have “18 summers…. 18 birthday cakes…. 18 Christmas Eve’s that will fly away in the blink of an eye.”  The time when we have our babies full time in our homes is so short and we need to make the most of it and not wish it away.
*No affiliate links in this post other than the shameless self-promotion.  🙂  All products and posts that I love and things that I use without compensation!

I just saw this! What a blessing you are to me. I am so glad that I met you at that little ol’ bloggy breakfast. I was a nervous wreck at that thing at the thought that someone may actually talk to me! LOL I’m such a dork. Have a fabulous week, my friend!
