Building a Home – Powder Bath Inspiration

I’m working on getting inspiration boards done for all of the rooms.  They have really helped me have a visual of what I want the room to look like as I’m picking out finishing touches like lighting and mirrors.  I hope to show you the inspiration boards first and then, once we’re moved in and the rooms are done, show you how it turned out in actuality.  Since the Powder Bath is one of the smallest rooms, it makes sense that I got it completed first!

I don’t remember how I found your blog (I don’t actually know you), but I especially enjoy your new house updates and posts! Thank you! We are currently building a house also and are a few months behind you. For example, I’d really love it to stop raining inside my house. Will the framing ever end? Don’t even get me started about trying to figure out where light switches will go. Thanks again.

      Ashley,
Great to hear from you! It is frustrating to be sitting in the framing stage when all it’s doing is raining! And the light switches are HARD! I got overwhelmed with it and am not sure where they all ended up. But I found that it was easier to place them when we were walking through the house as opposed to looking at the plan!
Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll try to answer them as best I can!
      Have a great day!
      Jennifer
