Well, to say the last two weeks have been crazy is an understatement. Last Wednesday night Kelly and I got in the car and headed to Kelly’s hometown of Jackson, Mississippi for Mistletoe Marketplace. We had a fantastic few days of girl time and intense shopping! To say that I was blown away with the size and quality of the market would be just a shadow of the truth. The Junior League of Jackson goes all out on this event and it was spectacular. I wasn’t a great blogger during the trip though and only got this picture of Kelly, her sister Lesley, and I at dinner at Amerigo on Thursday night.
We got home Friday night and got to enjoy a full weekend at home which was really nice. We just spent the weekend hanging out as a family. Charlotte got to experience her first piece of Halloween candy due to her Daddy feeling bad that she wasn’t getting to eat any of it. So she really loved a mini Milky Way!
On Sunday Jason got to play golf after church since he was on Dad duty while I was gone. Charlotte and I took a trip to the grocery store and she loved waving to the cows at the bottom of the mountain. She also found her boots that I bought at Target a few weeks ago! She hasn’t wanted to take them off since!
Monday was a day of catch up and also we went out to try and get a few more things for around the house. Charlotte’s favorite part of the day was finding a Santa doll that she could play with and also a new puppy dog (we named him “Biscuit”) at Hobby Lobby. She also got into the marching band spirit when we got home with some pot lids. And she learned to smile when we ask her to say “Cheese!” That night she also got to wear her Christmas pj’s for the first time and spent some time reading her Christmas Marley book to Biscuit.
Tuesday was gym day and she got worn out resulting in me having a hard time waking her up from her afternoon nap! She was zonked!
