The weather has turned beautiful in our area and we’ve been taking full advantage of it by taking walks and going to the park. Charlotte has apparently outgrown walks in her stroller and now when you ask if she wants to go on a walk she says, “Way-gun!” and gets all excited. Last week I dressed Charlotte in one of my favorite outfits of hers and we walked to the park that afternoon.
The only problem was that Charlotte didn’t like the swing and so I set her down after I took her out and after that she didn’t want back up. She loved going down the slide (and still says “Hi slide!” when we drive by it) and definitely didn’t want to leave the park. I finally talked her in to it and she walked all the way up the hill holding my hand by herself because she still didn’t want to be picked up. I might not take her to the park by myself again — I felt outnumbered even though it was one on one!
