I love a lot about the Mother’s Morning Out program that Charlotte is in this year. I love how much interaction she gets with her peers and how that has greatly developed her peer relational skills. I love how she goes to Chapel each week and gets a Bible lesson which has helped develop her love for Jesus so early. I love her teachers and how much they care for and encourage her. I love the break that I get and the break that Charlotte gets and how that makes our time together so much better. I love how her love for music has grown exponentially with a wonderful music teacher. But I especially love the fact that every few weeks or so her art projects are sent home in her bag! It’s fun to have these items and I know that I will always look back on them fondly.
At some point over the last few years I read in a parenting magazine or on a blog or something that you should take a picture of your kids artwork. That way, if something gets lost or torn, you still have a copy of each piece and if you don’t have room to save everything you don’t have to feel as bad about getting rid of it because you still have a copy. So I’ve been doing that and am planning on making a book for Charlotte with her artwork. I’ll probably wait and do all of the MMO art together since it would be a very small book if I just did each year but we’ll just have to see. In the meantime I wanted to share some of my favorite pieces from this year so far.
