You’ve got questions? I’ve got answers!

On May 26th I asked Charlotte a series of questions because her answers right now are priceless and something I don’t want to forget.  She had also only recently started using sentences and her answer to the “What does a rainbow tell us?” question was the first sentence where she repeated back part of the question that she had ever said.  I want to do this again soon but on video but for right now, here are her questions and answers!

Mommy: How old are you?
Charlotte: 2

M: How old is Mommy?
C: 8

M: How old is Daddy?
C: 10

M: What is your favorite color?
C: I like purple one.

M: What’s your name?
C: Charlotte

M: What’s your favorite food?
C: I like Mac Mac Cheese.

M: What’s my name?
C: Mommy

M: What do you like to watch on tv?
C: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

M: Who is your best friend?
C: I like Daddy.

M: Where is Daddy?
C: Go work.

M: What’s your puppy’s name?
C: Whitey (her big stuffed dog — she was playing with him at the time).

M: Where is Luca right now?
C: School (i.e. the vet — we hadn’t picked him up yet from our trip from Tuscaloosa).

M: What does Luca do at school?
C: Play

M: Does Charlotte go to school?
C: Yes she is.

M: Does Charlotte like school?
C: Uh huh.

M: What are your teacher’s names at school?
C: Bonnie and Julie

M: What’s your baby brother’s name?
C: Baby James

M: Where does baby James live?
C: House

M: What’s in Mommy’s tummy?
C: Baby James in Mommy’s tummy

M: What’s your favorite thing to do outside?
C: Eat outside.

M: What’s your favorite animal?
C: I like puppy dogs.

M: What color are your eyes?
C: Blue

M: What color are Mommy’s eyes?
C: Blue too!

M: What color are Daddy’s eyes?
C: Green

M: What color is your hair?
C: Blue

M: What’s your favorite song?
C: Alligator song! Purple too! (Purple too is from the Minnie’s Rainbow song on Mickey Mouse)

M: Who made rainbows?
C: God

M: What do rainbows tell us?
C: Rainbows tell us God loves us!

M: What’s your favorite place to go?
C: I go T-town!

M: What’s your favorite book?
C: I like Minnie Mouse book.

M: What’s your favorite movie?
C: Watch Boo and Beast (Beauty and the Beast)

M: What’s your favorite birthday present?
C: Charlotte’s music player

M: What does Mommy do?
C: Dish washes

M: Who loves Charlotte?
C: I loves Memma

M: Who loves Charlotte?
C: I love Mommy

M: Who does Charlotte love?
C: I love Minnie Mouse

M: Where does Charlotte sleep?
C: Crib

M: Where does Mommy sleep?
C: Mommy’s Daddy’s room

M: Are Mommy and Daddy married?
C: Uh huh

M: Who kisses Charlotte?
C: I blow Mommy kiss

M: Where does Charlotte go when she’s disobeyed?
C: Go Charlotte’s shirt on. Go time out.  (The first time she ever had to go to time out it was because she wouldn’t let me put her shirt on.  It apparently made an impression because that was months ago!)
