When we decided that Jason was going to take off the day before Homecoming to make a long weekend out of our trip we thought that this was going to be our first weekend in Tuscaloosa and I was envisioning that we would still be in survival mode after James’ birth. But when we came down two weeks before I figured that Homecoming would be less stressful than I originally thought. So we decided to have a picnic on the Quad for lunch on Friday.
Charlotte was so excited about the picnic and we were so excited to have so many people join us! We had fun watching Charlotte, Sam, and Abby run around with the football and had a great lunch from Zoe’s.

Charlotte was so excited when Char Char got there! When she saw him she got up to go and run and give him a hug and before she ran to him she looked at us and said, “I love him!” and ran off. It was so sweet!
Our picnic was a great start to the Homecoming weekend!
