Your girl friends are the ones that you laugh with, cry with, and are silly with. They’ve seen you at your best and at your worst and love you anyway. You might fight like sisters sometimes but you always come back around and love each other. They support you. Encourage you. Bring you meals when you have a baby. Watch your kids while you have a date night. And are the people who you can spend a weekend with and never run out of things to say.
These are 11 of the gifts that I think would be perfect for those ladies this holiday season. Whether you’re surprising them or doing a gift exchange, these ideas will be a hit every time.
Life Doesn’t Have To Be Perfect Print – Grace and Serendipity – $8+
We all have friends in our lives and, if we were honest, the ones that we treasure the most are the ones that encourage us and speak love into our lives. Which makes this the perfect gift to kick off the gift guide for best friends. Life can be messy and, these days, we feel pressure to have everything “instagram ready” before we think it’s beautiful. But this print will remind your best friend that life is beautiful no matter what! The print is available in black ink or gold foil and would look beautiful framed!
PS Kristin also has a Hey Mama collection full of cards made just to send to your best friends. They are eloquently worded and the perfect little happy to stick in the mail for your friends!

Coordinating prints of your friend’s children with her decor will be an incredibly thoughtful gift and will be something that she treasures forever.
Meredith Personalized Stationery Set – Tales of a Peanut – $55
As a Mom I am forever making lists and jotting notes to stick in bags for teachers. I go through stationery incredibly fast and never want to spend money on myself to replenish my stash. So do your best friend a favor and gift her with something that she wants but won’t spend money on for herself. This stationery set includes a notepad, notecards, and gift tags. She’ll be set with a beautiful set that’s all hers.
Sleep is Overrated Coffee Mug – Hello Ginger – $13+
Whether she’s not getting sleep because she’s up with a baby or out partying, this coffee mug will cheer her in the morning’s. Sold in two sizes (11 oz and 15 oz) she’ll smile and think of you ever time she fills this up with the good stuff. And if you stick a package of her favorite splurge coffee or creamer in the mug when you give it to her even better!
Scattered Dots Pouch – Dermond Peterson – $35
It seems that each year our purses get larger making it even harder to find the brush or lipstick rolling around in the bottom of the bag. Enter this Scattered Dots Pouch to organize your friend’s bag so she can stop searching through it all the time. Available in a variety of beautiful colors, you can pick one that accentuates your friends style. And since this bag is made to order in the USA, you’ll feel good about giving her this gift.
New Year New You Collection – Paper + Oats – $21
Typically you wouldn’t think about a printable as a gift for your friend, but I think that this one would be the perfect Christmas gift for your friend who always makes big resolutions but can’t stick to them. Including four of Paper + Oats’ most popular kits, you can either print this out for your friend and stick the pages in a cute binder or can simply email her the download link for a fun daytime surprise! If she’s anything like me she’ll love the thought of getting her life organized before the new year kicks in.
Family Portrait Personalized Pillow – Uptown Girl Embroidery – $50
Give her a new pillow cover to personalize her space this Christmas. With this adorable family portrait pillow you can choose up to eight characters from the chart to be made into a pillow cover. Make one of her family or make a pillow cover of your group of friends and what you call yourselves!

Set of 4 wooden wanderlust placemats – Grace Graffiti – $66
These placemats are another splurge that she might not buy for herself but would love to have. With gorgeous Aztec patterns and three different stain colors, these placemats will be a focal piece on her kitchen table. And might even make her feel better about serving mac and cheese again for dinner. 🙂 On a bonus side note, these can also be used as cutting boards/serving trays and will be available at Nordstrom stores/online next month!
State Flower Print – Thimblepress – $25
As one of the products that I feel put Thimblepress on the map (pun intended haha!), I love the State Flower collection. The story behind these hand pressed 11×14″ Letterpress pieces of art is incredible and I highly encourage you to head to their website to read it. Each state has its own print with its own state flower in the state and with the flowers original colors. These prints are gorgeous and are a beautiful gift to give your best friend this year. You can give her the state that you live in, where she grew up, or a print of the entire country. Regardless of which you choose, she’ll love displaying this in her home.
Giving gifts is not a requirement to show someone how much you care. Many of these shops have beautiful cards that you could send to wish your friend a Merry Christmas or you can simply hand write them a letter telling them how much you love them. No matter what you choose, make sure to take this time to tell them how important they are to you. Our words matter and are the most priceless gift that we can give.
Do you exchange gifts with your friends? Do an ornament swap or favorite things party? I’d love to hear what gifts you’re handing out to the ladies in your life this holiday season!
