On Wednesday’s Charlotte just takes one nap and so we have an extra long play time before Daddy gets home. This is soon going to be the norm since I think we’re about to transition to one nap a day but for right now that’s unique for us and so I usually try to find something for us to do outside of the house to occupy some of that time. This week the weather was beautiful — not a cloud in the sky and temps in the 70’s — so I decided to head to Mom and Dad’s backyard for a little impromptu fall photo shoot. We had a great time running around the backyard, picking up leaves and handfuls of grass and mulch and dirt, getting dirty, laying in the grass, waving to the golfers, playing with pumpkins — it was a fun afternoon and I love these pictures because they reflect that!
It feels like fall
