I’m just getting to blogging about the rest of the weekend last weekend. On Saturday night Charlie and his friends got together to play some football and enjoy their last dinner together in Tuscaloosa. One of my brother’s pledge brother’s has a connection in the athletic office and so Charlie and his friends have gotten together a handful of times to play flag football on THE field in Bryant Denny. That was their plan this time also but, unfortunately, it rained all day and they had to move to the indoor practice facility.
Here’s Charlie going long for a pass with his bodyguard…I mean Jason. Jason went to one of his friends weddings that night which is why he was in a suit and everyone else wasn’t!
Charlotte making her new face for her Daddy. He’s telling her that some of his worst memories occurred in that building while he was playing baseball at Alabama. 🙂 I think they did a lot of running on that field!

Not only did Memma have on a pretty necklace but she had a jacket with a big collar and pretty buttons!
Right before Papa G took her on a stroll around the field. He only had to shield her from stray football throws a few times! 🙂

Charlie and his friends. They have a sent out a Christmas card to all of their parents every year that they’ve been in school. Sad to think that this will probably be the last one!
After the game we went to the athletic office building to enjoy a dinner of Full Moon BBQ! Yummy! That’s definitely my favorite kind!
We were excited to see our last National Championship trophy up close and personal! Charlotte was sleepy at this point but she was impressed!
