All Dressed Up

Last week Charlotte’s school had Open House.  She had only been twice at this point so it was more an additional time for her to get used to her classroom and teacher and for Jason to see everything than it was a time to show off what they’re doing so far.

Before we went we took C outside to get some pictures of her in her cute outfit.  I love this little Just Ducky outfit and I thought it looked some sweet with her new red shoes and frilly socks.  The mini photo shoot ended sadly when she fell requiring the Hello Kitty band-aid referenced in the previous post but it was fun while it lasted!

After we got to school sweet Charlotte started crying as soon as we walked into the school and I set her down to walk.  I should have just kept carrying her but I thought she would like to walk in.  Learned my lesson, we’ll be carrying her in from now on.  When we got to her room she cried even harder but when we took her to play with the toys and sat down to watch her she quickly calmed down.  It was nice to meet the other parents and see the kids interact.  I am so thankful that we have the opportunity to do something like this with C because I think it is going to be so good for her.  I bet the growth in her from now until next May will be exponential!
