After the first ornament went up we spent time decorating the big tree. This was pure torture for Charlotte because the ornaments are almost exclusively special breakable ornaments and she wasn’t able to help. But once the main tree went up it was time to decorate the small tree and this one was all hers!
We used non-breakable ornaments from an assortment of places. There are ornaments that my great-grandmother made. Ornaments that I made when I was little. Ornaments that I collected over the years growing up that weren’t breakable. And ornaments that Charlotte has made. Charlotte had a ball putting them up and even though the tree is a little bottom heavy (we did redistribute a lot) it is beautiful and Charlotte loves sitting in the floor in front of it!
