Master Architect and Decorator

Charlotte has a Christmas book called Gingerbread Baby that came out with the Christmas books and she has loved reading it.  So I knew when I saw a Gingerbread House kit at Target that it would be something that Charlotte would love.  It didn’t disappoint!  We did it one Saturday morning while James was asleep and Charlotte loved every part of it.  She especially loved getting to eat the extra candies while decorating and eating the gingerbread cookies that came with it!

After the house got completed I went and sat down at the kitchen table and Charlotte came and sat in my lap with me.  She said she wanted to take more pictures so we took some of us.  I love the pictures despite the fact that I don’t have any makeup on and you can tell that I’m tired and not feeling great.  But just seeing Charlotte and I snuggling and how sweet she was makes me happy.  I love that little girl so much and she makes my heart sing!
