This is actually last weekend’s update but I wanted to include it.
We’re getting to the part where the exterior of the house isn’t going to look much different each week. This week is a prime example of that. While there has been some work on the exterior (cornice work and moving a window), most of the work has been done on the interior and you can’t really see a lot of difference on the exterior. I think I’m going to need to start including a second page for interior pictures as well as the exterior shots!
This wall just happens to not have any plumbing in it but most walls have wires everywhere as well as plumbing everywhere!
The framers came back and added an arch to the cased opening to the living room.
We had a lining sprayed on our iron tubs to protect them throughout the process. This was done after they were filled with water and drained to ensure that we didn’t have any leaks.
Our doors were also stained this week! The front doors aren’t on (we’ve got temporary ones going on throughout construction) but being able to see them in their finished form is fun!
