Charlotte, Family

Sunday Morning

In our church kids move up to a pre-school ministry when they turn three.  So this meant that this fall Charlotte moved out of the nursery and into a program for 3’s and 4’s.  If you’ve been reading long or know us in person, you probably know that Charlotte isn’t a huge fan of new things.  She likes for things to stay the same and is not great about trying new experiences.
So Jason and I decided that we would help with her class this year to help her get adjusted.  We wanted to get more involved in the church and wanted to meet more people and we figured that it would be a win-win.  They do teaching in month long increments and October was our month to teach.  It has been a little bit of a challenge but we have enjoyed getting to know the kids that Charlotte will be growing up with in church and Charlotte has really enjoyed getting comfortable in the environment.  She even told me this week that she loves Sunday School which is a total turnaround from what she used to say!  Of course, she hasn’t gone without us being her teachers yet, but hopefully we will have made inroads in her hesitancy.
One morning this month before church we, miraculously, were ready early and the kids were in good moods so we took some time to get some cute pictures.  I know I’m biased, but I can’t think of any two cuter kids!
