Once we got there we headed out to see the Easter Bunny. Charlotte wouldn’t get within 50 feet of him but now she says that she wants this picture of he and James framed in her room because it’s her favorite picture! James started crying when I put him in the Easter Bunny’s lap too but within a few seconds he calmed down enough to let me get a quick picture!
Even though Charlotte was excited about the hunt it took her a little while to head out into the fray. I think it might have just been her strategy because all the other kids headed to the back portion of the hunt and she was the only one picking up the eggs from the front. She got to take her time and get as many as she wanted until I herded her back inside to the warm for a yummy brunch!
